Hello.

I'm a senior level Interaction Design Student . I currently reside in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I study at Simon Fraser University (SFU). I'm in the School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT) completing a Bachelors of Science in Interaction Design. I have so much passion for this field of study and one of my goals is to be able to contribute positively through my work, and I believe design can do that.


Interaction design is a very diverse and multidisciplinary field, that includes everything from spatial design, industrial design, human factors, cognitive science, graphic design, usability, user interfaces, brand studies and the list can go on. Our design program highly stresses team work and applied skills, and so I am able to work in teams spanning timelines for 1 week to 4 months. Throughout my studies I haved learned to research and see the underlying concepts and analyze a variety of design situations and contexts. This allows me to see design opportunities and come up with design interventions, starting from idea --> design process and iterations --> final form designs (3D, illustrations, scenarios, prototypes). I love creating things and being hands on, I have a great curiosity so I'm always researching and finding out what's new and emerging. My other interests include traveling, crafts, photography and trying out new things...my upcoming adventures include rock climbing for the first time! and archery.
